In 2020, the PRISM Alumni Advisory Council (PRAAC) was created to establish a global network of industry professionals who graduated from Virginia Tech and PRISM, connecting current members to a tight-knit alumni community.
Since then, PRAAC has supported PRISM through student and career development opportunities, connecting 15+ classes of alumni, sharing and supporting internship and full-time job opportunities, standing up a scholarship fund and Giving Day support, and more. The council now consists of 11 alumni who represent the growing PRISM alumni community.
Following PRISM's 15-year anniversary, PRAAC has elected a new leadership team for 2026. This year, PRISM welcomes Abby Stewart (CMO '23) as President, Savannah Meredith (CMO '21) as Vice President, and Patrick Kampfmueller (CMO '16) as Emeritus.
"As the new leadership team at PRAAC, Abby and I are excited to hit the ground running. Our priority is ensuring PRISMites have the resources and support they need to thrive, while strengthening PRAAC's connection to Virginia Tech. We're here to serve and can't wait to see what we accomplish together," stated Savannah Meredith, Vice President of PRAAC.
PRISM continues its commitment to supporting rising leaders in social media marketing by connecting current members with alumni who are dedicated to giving back to PRISM. The 2026 PRAAC leadership team is excited to kick the year off strong as PRISM continues to grow and shape the future of social media marketing.
